I went over to Tarbert on the Portavadie ferry for an hour or so this morning to meet people I had not been able to see earlier in the week because the boats were off.

After several days of stormy weather the fishing boats were clearly keen to get out even though it was bitterly cold and snow showers were begining to drive in from the North West.
