Going, going...

Five days ago, this plucky little rose was in its prime, despite the cold.  Today, the snow found it, I doubt if it will survive the weekend.  We went out through the snow this afternoon to see the accountant.  The news wasn't too bad, but I still have to write a cheque for the taxman.  And still our stove has not arrived in. It now looks as if the order got stuck behind the filing cabinet and will have to be re-ordered and re-shipped.  This cold spell will probably have gone before we get it installed.  Bah humbug.
