An election promise on stone

Love him or hate him you have to admire Alex Salmond. Here's a pledge made to students from Scotland to not introduce tuition fees. It's set in stone and in the grounds of the Heriot Watt campus at Riccarton. I was there doing some map corrections for an orienteering event at the end of the month. The weather was good old fashioned winter; cold and sunny.
