Dusting
Dusting... but not in the housework sense!
Woke up this morning to find that the wet, windy and wild weather of Thursday had gone, and in its place lay a dusting of snow. Nothing too serious, though, and the roads were relatively clear too. As the morning progressed the sun melted some of that snow, at low levels at least.
Drove over to Auchinstarry and started to walk along the River Kelvin Walkway, past Dumbreck Marsh towards Twechar. The winter sun made for a very pleasant morning indeed (top photo).
After lunch in the Community Centre in Twechar, walked back down onto the Canal towpath and started to walk back to Auchinstarry. Within ten minutes there were a few flurries of snow and, for the remaining half-hour of my walk that snow got heavier, and I was slightly more than 'dusted' by the time I arrived back at Auchinstarry (bottom photo).
A walk of two halves, one might say!
