birthday pie

My father inspired my love of the birthday pie. He would always pick this over a birthday cake. He was a simple man with a very big heart and apple pie was his very favorite. Tonight, I am celebrating my 56th birthday with the most beautiful apple pie I have ever seen. I am so grateful for the many blessings of family and friends- you all have helped me make it through a very crazy year.
