A real summer’s day, sunny, hot and windy. I went to the local Farmers’ Market hoping for fresh picked sweet corn,  cherries and free range eggs, but there were only very few stalls offering mostly things I was not interested in. All I bought were a few vegetables that I don’t have in my garden yet.

Coming home with the Southern Alps stretched north and south I noted that the only speck of snow was on the highest visible Craigieburn peak, deeper into the Alps than the local mountains.
