Front Room Cafe Garden Waikanae Beach

On our way back from a trip to Mitre10 in Paraparaumu we stopped at Front Room for a drink in the garden which has recently been revamped - it’s looks delightful. 

This morning I did a run before breakfast but the hot sunshine made a surprise appearance and I wilted after about 4-5 miles when the sun came out and ended up walking a fair way back - hey ho! After breakfast I had the pleasure of lying in the bath listening to this week’s episode of the Anfield Wrap Podcast who seemed to confirm my thoughts that the mighty Reds struggled because Rogers spent the first part of the season trying to develop a defensive team. This experiment failed miserably, but LFC are looking more like their old selves with a more attacking 3-4-3. Wish he’d just started the season as he left off last season  - with crazy free flowing football. But despite the departure and a failed experiment - I’m still hopeful we’ll get top four.

Later in Paraparaumu, we picked up three more blueberry bushes, a dark purple flax and a couple of hebe for the garden. Bought a spreader to keep the lawn fed evenly and regularly, and a new wooden letter box :)
