Slip Sliding Away

Took one of the few opportunities to skip up the hills.  
Weeks of rain have made streams of the paths then Jack Frost ice of the streams. Dust with a little snow and you have a nice little surprise for the incautious walker. Alarming when you are climbing!
Decided I would abandon the paths and stay to the rough grass for steady footing - but it ain't called rough for nothing. Hard going and then some! Lovely view to compensate however
Got home, took my boots off and glanced out the window - the snow was coming down like Christmas
