More sunshine

Those of you who know me well will know how hard it was for me to spend most of this sunny day on trains. Much as I like travelling on trains. I have read a lot if my book (The Miniaturist - gripping), smiled at the good natured bonhomie of a party of Liverpool fans on their way to Aston Villa (how can men talk about football for hour upon hour?) and watched the English countryside roll by. I did get some precious time outside, as the sun rose and everything steamed as the frost melted. And I still have the third of my cinema-fest films to look forward to tonight - Paddington. Some light relief :-)
