1952
Off up the hill to wander about in the undergrowth with my new camera, I became aware of three gajeez ahead with gun bags slung over shoulders, loosely firing air rifles at something.
I did my own shooting with my camera making sure not to get too near. I bypassed their location and circumnavigated round the Tower. Dog walkers and families passed by their location as they continued to walk about shooting at God knows what.
As I returned to the road an hour later after more photography, I was relieved to see the three gajeez being bundled into a police van.
This tree has some tales to tell, I wonder how many rifles it has seen pass by.
