On the touchline

It didn't take him long to get a try, and he didn't hesitate to put in a bone-crunching tackle on a much bigger opponent.  

Unfortunately he landed hard on his leg, and was out of the game after less than ten minutes.  It was hard to say which hurt more; the sore leg, or not being able to play.
