Wake up George!

Early morning in a deserted George Square, and a juxtaposition of light and dark.

The square looks particularly bare now that the Christmas Fair has been removed. To add to the effect, the grass which was under the attractions is dead, and the flower beds are empty. I imagine the parks department will be on the case very soon!
