Clothes ban

One of those lovely family Saturdays that come along ever so often. Pancakes for breakfast, dancing in the kitchen, parks, coffee shops, naps, a manicure (for me) and Angus and I even managed to read our books in front of the fire after lunch.

Couldn't think of anything inspirational to do with Squidge after we'd dropped Angus off at work this afternoon though. It was cold, wet and sleeting. So we went to Mothercare and Toys R Us at Ancoats - magic! A happy Squidge played with toys for an hour, in the warm, for free! We obviously didn't escape without a few pink plastic additions to our toy collection. More's the pity!

I have put myself on a clothes spending ban until the 1st March. Saving money for the new house. I have enough winter clothes so going try and 'survive' (I know, pathetic) without buying more. I love fashion, am addicted to style blogs and Instagram of late so this will be a challenge. Maybe I need to switch to interior blogs for a while!
