Premonition

This evening I decided to ‘exercise’ our emergency light – ie turn off the power, make sure it lights up then leave it for half an hour or so that the battery has a chance to discharge a bit before recharging.
 
I had only switched off the power for little more than seconds when we had a power cut . . .
 
I’m not sure if I should to look at it as a waste of time as the electricity board was doing the job for me, or if I had had a premonition, or if I had just been tempting providence?
 
Possibly the latter as I had only just set my pc to back up its data – that had to be cleaned up and set off again after we got the power back.
 
Whatever, I was short of a blip, so here it is re-enacted.
