An article in the Courier last week prompted me to phone and book a table at Roccos's in StAndrews.

Their chef Jamie Scott won this year's Masterchef Professionals title and they have taken the decision to open on Friday and Saturday for lunches - the menu featuring Jamie's winning dishes.

On Masterchef evenings me , MrsLiF and MrsCats&Dogs have watched Jamie's journey "together", chatting on FB, so it seemed only fitting that I asked them to go with me. We stuck to the winning menu until dessert, when MrsLif went rogue and had a Hot Rhubarb Souffle!!

An excellent way to spend a winter's afternoon - comfortable surroundings, delicious food and charming company.
