Winter tree
I wasn't sure what I would end up blipping today. It was a drizzly, grey day and a little too wet to stand around outside and take photos. Then fate stepped in.
I had a lesson with a student at Andel and then caught the 12 tram home. This tram stops very near my apartment. Usually.
Today was rather like a magical mystery tour. About four stops before mine there was announcement - in Czech. The only words I caught were "Strossmayerovo Namesti". That is the stop two past mine. Okay, I figured, maybe something is happening there. Wrong. The tram took an unexpected turn and Strossmayerovo Namesti was the next stop. The tram had, rather inconveniently, cut out a chunk of the journey, including my stop.
I leapt off the tram, crossed the road and waited 6 minutes for the number 1. While waiting I saw trams turning in unexpected directions, but I kept my fingers crossed that the 1 would do the right thing. This all gave me time to take a photo of this lovely bare tree. I'm not at all sure how the sky turned out blue though!
As I rode the 1 up the hill I saw a tram being towed in the opposite direction. Life isn't easy when trams break down. But I found my blip. :)
