Sing sing!

A song thrush. I was sitting somewhere today listening to this very one from inside. The energy, the powerful voice these birds have is really rather remarkable. This same one kept it up, on & off for 6 hours. I had a chance to go outside & I caught up with him - him, as only the males sing, like blackbirds & mistle thrushes. He seemed quite happy to have his photo taken, so high up in the tree.
