Passing shot

Rushed job (blipped from a car today):  the last statue of Lenin erected in Moscow in 1985.  About as grey as the day today.

MOSCOW — Soviet leader Mikhail S. Gorbachev on Tuesday unveiled Moscow's largest-ever statue of V.I. Lenin, a 70-foot likeness of the founder of the Soviet state, the official Soviet news agency Tass reported. The statue is in October Square, within sight of the Kremlin.
