Splash!

I began today by not getting up (thanks Beloved). Having laid in bed until the sociable hour of 9:20 it seemed that was a good time as any to get going. In no more than a blink of an eye, the clock jumped another hour and ten minutes to 10:30!

After breakfast brunch, I completed a few chores. My most popular at this time of the year is bringing in of wood (under strict instructions from Beloved that they are without spiders). Personally, I'd prefer they are without hibernating wasp queens. The log store is a favourite spot for them to over winter it seems.

Later, we had an invitation to my sister's house, so it was bath time, which involved splashing lots of water around the bathroom. He is quite the water baby and always enjoys it. 

My Sister makes a fine Christmas cake and cup cakes.
