Meteorite

Today was Young Archaeologist Club in Northumberland and we meet up at the Information Centre in a funny little village called Once Brewed (long story which is on Wikipedia!)

Anyway, this months subject for the YACs, was Archaeological Astronomy, which the girls all found fascinating. They really enjoyed using the metal detector out in the snow to find this tiny piece of meteorite! Quite exciting as it was dark and snowing at the time!!
