Almost
Two hours at the cafe in Queen Anne school waiting for Ewan at orchestra listening to (being subjected to) an over-amplified 1980s retrospective (mainly Duran Duran and Simple Minds before it morphed into something like NOW73!) and reading my book about stationery. Two chapters covering paper clips, drawing pins and pens. Great stuff. Then off to Glasgow to check out the Decathlon closing down sale (rubbish although some useful wee things - degreaser, brake pads, cosy socks and a free pair of trainers that the lad, probably getting made redundant, couldn't be arsed finding a code for). More shops. Toysaurus, John Lewis, Build-a-Bear. Christmas money spent and I got a weird wee camera (Sony QX10, if you want to look it up) that might find some uses.
Home, tyres changed for a frosty cycle tomorrow morning, lovely curry and a wee spin to keep this daft thing going. It's going to have to be broken by events. The weather hasn't done a very good job.
This is Ewan almost getting caught out in Toysaurus. Knowing he'd be mortified, I waited til his back was turned, got the camera ready and picked up a doll. Shouted 'catch' to him and threw the doll and clicked. He was suitably mortified until I had to confess that I'd failed to get the picture.
