A finial on a window arch. Beautiful little bit of work, a jeux d'esprit.
This is on one of the buildings opposite Newhaven Harbour, we were there to meet Parsfan who was giving us a lift to the football (and a Very Cool Pair of Socks!)
Good to see Mrs Him, batman and a small minion.

Not so good to see the football match. Very lucky to scrape a draw...

We had a couple of pints with wee Mikey after in the Beard and Cardigan, meeting two random archaeologists there. Concerned to hear that Mitch, the manager, had had a heart attack... seems he's recovering fine, though.
