Birthday Girl

Today was my niece Niamh's 5th birthday! We travelled down to Perth for her party and a great time was had by all :-) The only downside was I had a thumping headache from this cold I seem to have had forever and left the photography to my hubby as I couldn't cope with the noise in the hall from all the kids. End result being from 241 photos only about 40 are in focus, lol! Hoever, I did get this shot of the birthday girl before we left for the party. I love the way the natural light falls onto her face :-)

A wee update too, I have been missing from blip for a little while because I have been busy setting up this! I have my first photoshoot booked for next weekend for a friends two boys. I am super excited and am hoping I can make a good job of it. The bonus being my parents have agreed to let me use my DSLR for shoots which are paid and I got to take it away to have a try out of it before next weekend and this is one of the first shots from it. Very pleased with the results :-)

Final word is to say Happy Birthday to my beautiful Niece Niamh, we all love you lots and hope you had a lovely day sweetheart!
