No! The cake is not for Asia ;o)

Asia looked like she was hoping the cake was meant for her . . .  
I don't bake that often but thought tomorrow night's gathering would be a good excuse to try a recipe for a 3-layer peppermint cake with real meringue cookies! Everything was made from scratch, but it was a challenge that I enjoyed. The best part was seeing Crazy Steve's eyes light up when I walked into the room with the finished cake! I'm glad I made it today, not to mention veggie lasagna too. mmmm.

p.s. Asia did get a tiny taste of the leftover frosting! She is so sweet . . .
