Our day started with breakfast in a rustic outdoor restaurant where they serve porridge with little crispy pieces of lamb fat, a type of crackling. It's a traditional farmer's dish.
After that very rich meal we went to the union buildings to have a look at the new statue of Nelson Mandela. It is truly impressive.
In the evening we were invited to dinner at a friend of L's. It was midnight before we went home and I found it so weird that there was no people out and about and we saw one car the whole way back. This was on a Saturday night in a million people city! That is too strange!
