The taste of summer

Today I helped Mr S build a kennel for Bramble so that she can enjoy being outside whilst we're at work. Oh, and I may have gone and bought a new sofa...woops....

Oh well; this shot illustrates one of my favourite things about NZ summers; lots and lots of berry fruit! I would have had my own blueberries this year if the puppy hadn't pulled it out of the ground, so will have to try again next year.

House cleaned, dinner cooked, and Monday is almost upon us again. sigh...
