Second born's bid for Independence

This is my first blipfoto so hello fellow blippers! Also a special shoutout to WhiskyFoxtrot. whose blog and photos have inspired me to join! 

So we didn't get Scottish Independence this time but as I sit opposite my youngest son at dinner I can't help but notice the following with an optimistic heart...

For the past month second born has refused to sit in his baby seat that is set at just the right height for him to eat comfortably at the table, opting instead for a standard chair from which he can barely reach the table. He has not waited for us to give him Independence, he has made full use of the power he currently has to demand we give him the full Independence he feels he has a right to! Good for him, although it may be a while before we give him soup again!

So here is second born, aged 16 months tucking into yoghurt and blueberries from his newly seized position at the dining table.
