Taking flight

No early morning walk for us - I said it wouldn't last.  We were easily put off when we woke up to such a rainy morning.

I was just out in the garden trying to get an arty raindrop shot when I spotted this pheasant on the roof next door.   Just got him as he took flight.   
Not a very clear shot but it will have to do for today.

We had a very jolly time last evening when Ed, William and his girlfriend Annie came round for drinks and high jinks.
