Barn Owl

A trip out Bird watching today on what was a cold frosty morning. Today we took a trip up to the North of the county for a change of scenery. We visited Alkborough Flats a fairly new reserve on the banks of the Humber where the river Trent and Ouse join it.
Managed to see a few nice birds and also a party of 4 or 5 Muntjac Deer. I took a few shots which can be seen HERE. I decided to go with this shot of a Barn Owl as its not something I get to photograph that often not the clearest of shots but so hard when it just flew past us, did get a couple of sharper shots but you can see its lovely face on this shot
