Terillium

Ribes

A flowering blackcurrant. A fairly common flowering shrub tucked away at the back of a border. It plays its part by flowering early and by providing foliage on curving branches for flower arranging. It does have an 'interesting' fragrance which has been described as 'catty'.
It looked lovely today in a snowy garden as it caught the light. Full of spring promise.
