Blue Skies And Snow

I went to bed last night and the snow had gone.
I got up this morning and there was a 'dusting'.

The courtyard we live on has a monoblock surface which is probably the worst surface to have in snow and ice.
It is only on a few degrees slope and doesn't get the sun. But the top of the slope does. So the melt runs down the slope ..... and freezes. So even when it is above freezing (4C this afternoon) we have a skating rink.

SWMBO and I were out for a coffee and chat at friends this afternoon. When we were coming home there was some nice colour in the sky ..... just a shame I couldn't do justice to it.
