Common moss

Met someone new today - a contact from Twitter who has recently moved to the area. She and her dog, Bob, came for a walk on Beccles Common. The day started foogy and cold. Thankfully the fog soon lifted but it remained very chilly. After and hour's walk we adjourned to Costa for a warming coffee. Lovely to meet her at last (and Bob) We will do it again some time.

This moss (Sphagnum?) took our eye.
