Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

It's Ripley, believe it or not

Today was a good day. Got up early and drove up to see The Aged P. Went down the road for breakfast, her in her mobility scooter, me trotting alongside to make sure she didn't shoot off into the road.

Best bit though was getting home and taking TSM out for a walk as part of her rehab. We stumbled across a private house, Dunsborough Park Gardens which is absolutely gorgeous. It's in Ripley, Surrey and only open for three days this year so if you can, don't miss it. This is one of the many beautiful follies, bridges and statues.

If you want to see a facebook album of the place click here.

Cooked a nice supper and watched a couple of brilliant programmes on BBC2 tonight - the restoration of the Cutty Sark and the amazing off by heart which showed some wonderful young people competing by delivering speeches from Shakespeare. Inspiring stuff.

But knackered now ... need a rest ...
