Some Days

The Big Parade

Euphling (smart, centre) had a really big day with the Sea Kidettes today.

They held a parade and ceremony to dedicate the colours (big cadet's flag) which have been lost for thirty years and found in somebody's garden shed.

Apparently it had been taken home for safe keeping when it looked as though the unit was going to have to fold up, then it was forgotten about.

Other units came to help celebrate with a barbeque after their brisk walk around Dunbar.

Big Parade

Euphling is looking particularly smart in this shot. In the next few, which were better in focus and at a faster shutter speed, he had a stupid self-concious grin on his face after seeing me photographing him. (The pretty girl in front of him is doing something wrong, can you spot it?)
