Venice!

Today Francesco picked me up from Bologna airport and drove us to Venice, where we will spend the next couple of days. Such a beautiful city, I was told it was smelly and crowded and it was neither of these things. There was a low fog everywhere and everywhere you look buildings are fascinating. We picked a cheap hotel deal on trip advisor (Hotel Tre Archi) but it turned out to be excellent, cute little two story room that looked out onto a frosty garden with lots of birds.
