Checking out the sledging field

...with Dad. Telling him where the fast and steep bits are, where he fell off, where they got to, where he and his pal crashed. Not much snow at all today, but it was gloriously sunny. Cold, but sunny.

The earlier half of the day was spent tidying, clearing out rubbish, putting away, clearing out clothes too small, cleaning, vac-ing and even (shock, horror!) some dusting and ironing! The boys spent the time reclaiming things, squirrelling away bits into their "tat" "treasure" boxes.

Only when i do it, do i realise what a slovenly attitude i have to housework. I do enjoy a nice clean tidy house... for an hour or so... Going out for a late afternoon walk and then watching Star Wars has meant it's still tidy, hooray!
