Booky would approve.
Some time ago Blipper Booky, noting the numbers of people reading one form or another of electronic reader, decided to photographically record random instances of people actually reading old fashioned ‘paper and print’ books. And it’s no surprise to find that many people still love their ‘paper and print’ books. People were blipped in lots of different situations, and I think Booky would have approved of this chap, nonchalantly reading what might have been a text book of some sort amid the hustle and bustle, not to mention the cold, of our local steam train station.
And the eagle eyed amongst you may notice that this station is the one that was used as London Charing Cross in the film ‘Testament of Youth’ currently on release. You might even catch a glimpse of it in the TV advert.
Thank you so much to all you lovely blippers who commented, and gave stars and hearts to ‘Snowing Again’. It’s now swanking about in Popular, while I’m trying so hard not to let it all go to my head. You are all too kind. All your lovely comments are greatly appreciated.
Also greatly appreciated is the thumbnail crop, which now works! Yippee!
