Spoilt

I have been very spoilt today. I have a new camera. I will still use my lovely little Samsung Galaxy. I find it easy and it does the job for me. Alex got a new camera before he went away which was also a Nikon. I was so impressed with the quality of photographs he took that I took the plunge and bought one as well.

I'm reading the manual and getting slightly confused but the more I use it the better I will get. I'm having trouble downloading into my computer...but I think it's the computer. I really don't like my computer. It's windows 8. That's why I stick to working from my iPad all the time.

Was also spoilt on our return from buying the camera. Nick and Hollie had made us a lovely dinner. It was so nice to come home to food already cooked.

Also had a bit of an accident with my thumb. My windscreen wipers needed changing. I went to Halfords where they fit things like that while you wait. I looked though a booklet and found the wipers I needed for my car. When I was at the till I asked the girl to check I had the right ones but apparently I didn't. They put your licence number in and it comes up with all the correct parts for your car....except mine!

I changed them for the ones she told me. By this time the queue for the fix it was very long so I decided to fix them myself. As I was sliding the old wipers out my thumb just got caught and I ended up splitting the side of my thumb and under the thumb nail. Ouch it bloody hurt. Serves me right for not waiting....but they were the wrong wipers. The correct ones were the ones I first picked up. Had I not fiddles around at the till the queue would have been much shorter, I wouldn't have tried to do it myself and my thumb wouldn't be as sore as it is now.

Should have been playing on a Segway this morning but had a message to say it was cancelled due to bad weather. I actually thought the weather was pretty good today. Never mind it's something to look forward to.
