Edinburgh Christmas Market

Today we headed into the Edinburgh Christmas Market (mainly to head to the childrens rides and market) despite the snow warnings. And sure enough, as we were driving into the markets the snow started falling. It didn't fall for long but it did sit on the ground and turn to slush.

But the bad weather meant there was no one else there. So, no queuing, no waiting, and first pick of where CJ wanted to sit or the car he wanted to go in.

So he started with a ride in Lightning McQueen and it was then off to complete the Xmas tree maze (with a reward of chocolate coins once you found the exit). Then it was off to his favourite - the Christmas train!

But after a quick chocolate marshmallow snack, we decided to skip the rest of the market and head home as it was getting rather cold and CJ wasn't very happy.

Unfortunately the day ended with CJ falling sick. Hopefully it's just a 24 hour bug...
