Re-learning to snowboard

So it turns out that snowboarding was harder than I had remembered. I fell off the lift twice and was too scared to turn, but Dan's very patient and reassuring teaching and with some perseverance on my part I was linking up turns by the end and had a fantastic time!  Afterwards we managed to resist all the shops full of exciting ski gear and had a delicious dinner at Jamie's Italian.  Yummy!  The day got off to a good start with a new PB in my second Parkrun, I still can't believe I am running for fun!  There were a few snowflakes on the way around the lake, but it was a beautiful morning, that brightened up into a lovely sunny day.
