Sunday........that's my fun day......
I hate when I have to rewrite everything.
This photo was taken at Tommy's Park in the Old Port section of Portland. In the 80s I lived about 3 doors up the street. It was a fun time to live there.
I wanted to get a blip that was different tonight.
And as I sit here typing ,the wind is howling. The temp was about 40 degrees but the sidewalks and roadways were treacherous. Slick ice.
I took Ingrid to the movies this afternoon to see "Into the woods". It was good. Sondheim writes in weird intervals. But beautiful. Ingrid's son Aidan came with us. He is extremely well behaved. I enjoy him.
So we had hamburgers and fries and lots of popcorn and sour patch kids.
And when Ingrid got home, her husband noticed that someone had smashed into her right rear panel and stove up her car.
Hit and run. What a crappy birthday present.
This has been a strange weekend. The week ahead is going to be busy. I sing with a womens' chorus called Women in Harmony. Our winter concert is next weekend. The theme is "Rooted in the heart" it is the first in a series of women's health. This music is hard this semester. I usually memorize most of the music. Not this time.
We have a rehearsal Tuesday, Dress rehearsal Thursday , and concerts Friday and Saturday. Busy week!
So I am headed off to bed and will wish a pleasant goodnight to the north and G'day to Downunder.
