Change of Plan

Went for a walk this morning. Saw herons courting, a nice Albizia, and a shag out of place. However, later I went next door to see my nearly-95 year old grandmother, who is contemplating a wholesale change in her painting style and materials - bold and strong-coloured acrylic abstracts to "smooth and peaceful" watercolours, of things such as the view from her backyard.

She brought out a small cardboard frame, and began peering through it, to look at potential images. I saw an image with potential, leaned back in my chair next to her, and snapped.
