Inheritance

There has always been this ongoing subject of laughter between Marie-France and I about the way that she stores names of people and places in her memory: the best way to describe it is "fuzzy matching". For example, she will sometimes talk about "Rue Voltaire" instead of "Rue Jean Jaurès", having passed through Jean-Jacques Rousseau on the way through her memory (the index entry most probably being "Jean xxxxxxxx").

Well to my delight (and possibly to Maf's regret, although she does find it funny), Rita seems to have inherited this trait!

I was reading some Disney book to her, and she pointed at Donald Duck, and called him (in french) "McDo". This morning, she was getting dressed and instead of saying "mes guêtres" she said "mes nuggets".

Unless she has some weird fixation with burger restaurants... (oops, not allowed to call them restaurants in France anymore).
