Heron

So near and yet so far....
Took my camera with me on the school run and took a couple of shots as I was going round Pocket Park with the dogs. Just as I turned the camera off and slung it over my shoulder, a heron flew out from the trees right in front of me. By the time I'd sorted out the camera it was quite a long way away. Still, the sun over the park looks quite pretty so I'm not disappointed in this as an early blip.
Lots of planning to do as I'm working for the next 3 days, so I'll be slaving over a hot laptop for the rest of the day.
