Anyone for a game of Hopscotch?

The low-lying midday sun was making hopscotch shadows on the road. Still bitterly cold, but it's dry and sunny, so I'm not complaining.

It was a shock to the system to have to set the alarm and rise with the sun this morning in order to make an early appointment at the dentist's, but it has made me do more with the day.

Thank you, ERNIE, for the welcome cheque you sent in today's mail. If you could maybe add a couple of zeros to the next one, I'd be even more grateful.
