Red rocks on a perfect day

I went down to the beach this morning to buy some fresh fish for dinner. It felt so warm in the sunshine that I decided I would have an early lunch, catch the bus and walk along the beach and back along the coastal path. I had checked the tide times and knew the tide was coming in. I took this photo in quite a hurry as the sea was lapping the promontory (which is just out of view) and I knew I would have to get round it quickly. Unfortunately, I slipped in my haste and got a boot full of water. I'll remember next time how long I need to allow between me going around and high tide. It was just me and the sea birds, oyster catchers, gulls and brent geese, on the beach, glorious.
