Welshpool Lock.

It was a cold day, but we have been spared snow.- so far!
The building on the left was a warehouse, now it's our museum. The Montgomery Canal is short- 37 miles-it only goes as far as Newtown where wool carried on the narrow boats to mills to be turned into cloth.  The canal is not used now- and because of this is a wonderland for flora and fauna.- great for walking- it's flat.
