Water week

First of all, thank you all so much for the hearts and stars yesterday - that was so kind of you!

The title of today's blip is because I've realized it's a long time since I've blipped in the river valley (river=Itchen).  So I decided I would begin a mini-series of water pictures for this week.  I should probably have called it 'water meadow week' though, as the river doesn't actually feature in today's..

Heavens, it was such a glorious morning I felt the start was encouraging.  Big vibrant sky, flat wet meadows, crazy old willow, what could be better?  On the other hand, now I've stuck my neck out is will probably rain for the rest of the week.  Wrong kind of water!
