Pink River
Tranquil walk early this morning and then everything went downhill.
It had been decided that my other half needed a car so that he wasn't so dependant on mine or me! My sensible idea was that he would get a runaround and mine would continue to be the main family car. His was that he would get an older, high mileage model of a more prestige car. Felt a little worried.
When we entered the showroom I realised all was lost when he was shown what they described as the bargain of the century. He got carried away. I resisted. Salesman tried to kill me with his stare. I tried to press for time to consider but that credit card was out, the documents were signed and we became poorer overnight.
On the way home, Mr T came to his senses. Panicked, and has now decided he wants to withdraw. Of course, we don't have a leg to stand on. The agreement has been signed. Let battle commence but I am not hopeful.
