Back in the North

Got to Aviemore just after dark - fabulous twilight drive up the A9 from Perth.  Lots of snow (but the road was black and dry), temperatures showing around -9C and at one point a lovely view of a 12-point (I think) stag in fields close to the road.

Forecast seems OK for the next few days - but they've been known to be wrong.
